Community
The community of Lakeside Homes is a 245 household manufactured home community. The residents own their own homes, and rent the home-sites. It has many amenities including: a scenic lake front with ducks and other wild life, large shade trees, and a developed city park and playground a short walk away. The community is located just South of the intersection of 35W and Interstate 694, just 20 minutes North of both Minneapolis and St. Paul.

It has Police and Fire Protection provided by the City of New Brighton.

The community streets are wide, paved, and well lighted with on-street parking. There are sidewalks throughout the community.

Mail is delivered to each homesite dailly by the United States Postal Service, except Sundays and holidays.

Water and sewer service is supplied by Lakeside through the City of New Brighton's municipal system and is included in the homesite at no extra charge.

Electricity and natural gas are supplied by Xcel energy directly to each homesite at regular household rates.

It is located in the Mounds View School Distict #621.

The community is adjacent to a municipal park & playground equipped with a tennis court, ice skating rink, softball field, hockey rink, and warming house with community rooms. (New Brighton stopped operating ice rinks 2011)

Garbage service is provided by Lakeside at no extra charge for household waste only. A compost site is located within the community for use by its residents.
